"Gremlins" is an American horror with comic overtones that is available on DVD. The movie begins with a Dad shopping for a Christmas gift for his son. He chooses a creature called Mogwai, renamed Gizmo, but he is told not to expose it to bright light, get it wet, or feed it after midnight. The son, Billy, accidently gets Gizmo wet, causing the little pet to multiply. The multiplied versions of Gizmo are not nice and go on a rampage through the town. "Gremlins" was directed by Joe Dante and released by Warner Bros. Steven Spielberg and Michael Finnel produced this horror movie. The cast of "Gremlins" features Zach Galligan as Billy Peltzer, Phoebe Cates as Kate Beringer, and Hoy Axton as Rand Peltzer. The voice of Gizmo is by Howie Mandel. Oriented to children, this horror movie is rated PG by the Motion Picture Association of America, MPAA. It made on an $11 million budget and $150 million dollars at the box office. The DVD features the movie with subtitles in French, Portuguese, English, and Spanish.
